This role offers the chance to contribute to the reliability and performance of a critical piece of Victorian infrastructure.
Please note: Yallourn will stop producing electricity in June 2028 – however there could be the ongoing possibility of work with closure and rehab activities.
About the Role
As a result of business changes, we’re now seeking 2 x experienced Scaffolding Supervisors to join our Maintenance team at Yallourn Power Station, where you’ll play a key role in safely delivering essential plant maintenance and supporting site performance.
Reporting to the Scaffolding Superintendent, you’ll share ownership of supervising scaffolding trade resources to deliver maintenance outcomes safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You’ll lead from the front—driving safety, uplifting team capability, and ensuring work is executed in line with maintenance schedules and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and co-ordinate scaffolding activities in line with safety, quality, and operational requirements
- Support the development and execution of scaffold plans to support outages, maintenance, and project works
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and project teams to align scaffold delivery with work schedules
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards, site procedures, and safety regulations
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments across scaffold structures
- Champion a culture of safety, continual improvement, and cost efficiency.
About You
- A hands-on leader with strong scaffolding and/or maintenance experience, ideally within heavy industry.
- Bring a proactive safety mindset and thrive in fast-paced, operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating maintenance teams
- Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capability
