About the role

The Group Budgeting and Planning Lead provides business partnering and commercial support by leading key processes such as setting annual targets, developing financial plans and forecasts, tracking performance metrics, and providing reporting and insights to guide decision making.

This is a permanent role based in our Docklands office, with a hybrid arrangement of three days in the office each week.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Annual Business Plan, including timelines, governance, and stakeholder alignment
  • Support Business Plan development, including Balance Sheet, Cashflow and lease forecasting, and coordinate key deliverables (e.g. Board materials, Assumption Books).
  • Lead the monthly forecast process, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and delivery of clear, commercially focused insights.
  • Contribute to core forecasting outputs, including Cashflow forecasts and financial analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning and forecasting processes, tools, and systems.


About you

  • Strong experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Experience working in a regulatory environment is preferred
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills
  • Advanced technical capability in financial systems, Excel modelling, and data visualisation tools, with deep planning and forecasting expertise.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with experience enhancing processes, tools and workflows.
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and a proactive, self‑motivated approach within a team environment.
