About the role
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our team on a fixed-term 12-month basis. You will be working on the Hallett Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project which is currently under construction.
As the Project HSE Advisor, you will provide advice, and conduct health and safety due diligence on our Principal Construction Contractor at the Hallett BESS project in South Australia.
The role focuses on ensuring health, safety and environment are managed systematically to best practice standards through construction execution, and into the operationalisation of the project.
Please note: The project site is 2 hours north of Adelaide. The working pattern will be 10 days on, 4 days off.
You will achieve success in this role by:
- Conducting due diligence and monitoring of the Principal Construction Contractor
- Providing HSE specialist knowledge on the construction project
- Supporting best practice contractor management strategies
- Driving safety culture improvements
About you:
You are a proactive and detail-oriented safety professional with strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Minimum Cert IV qualifications in WHS
- Relevant construction or heavy industry experience
- Experience managing Principal Contractor HSE performance
- Environmental skills and experience would be beneficial, but not required.
